Audit and Evaluation
As a first step in the adoption phase, IDS conducts an audit of the client’s operation, either on-site or remote, to fully understand their needs and point out areas where a smart building solution could provide measurable operational benefits. We evaluate potential technology options, identify key challenges, and build a project implementation plan that helps ensure an accurate and consistent deployment of smart devices and fixtures.
Systems Design
At IDS, we’ve worked with advanced smart building technologies for over 10 years now, and have developed the systems design expertise to create accurate and complete lighting, controls, and IoT device layouts that are customized to meet a client’s unique needs and space requirements. We use a variety of digital tools to enhance our design capabilities and improve the speed and precision of our layouts, while also helping to ensure that all relevant industry standards are met.

Bid and Selection
Our skilled team at IDS helps clients identify, source, and procure the proper materials and services needed to successfully implement a smart building solution. We create RFQs, receive and analyze bids, and work closely with clients to identify and select the proposal that best meets the cost, quality and service level requirements outlined in the bid package. We can also manage the acquisition process for both product and labor to help ensure that the project schedule is met and delays are avoided.
System Start Up

Verification, Documentation and Training

We provide a complete set of detailed and accurate asbuilt documentation with updated wiring diagrams, electrical drawings and device location data for future reference and troubleshooting.
